Product description Styled in a natural finish, the Ibanez j.custom Series RG8570MW is an electric guitar with a solid, double-cutaway body, a bolt-on neck, DiMarzio pickups, and a Lo-Pro Edge tremolo bridge. The j.custom Super Wizard five-piece neck, constructed out of maple and wenge, provides a scale of 25.5” and features bound, selected rosewood with 24 jumbo frets and a Tree of Life inlay. The body is fashioned out of mahogany with a myrtle top.For electronics, the guitar is equipped with two DiMarzio humbucking pickups: an Air Norton in the neck and The Tone Zone in the bridge position. Between these humbuckers sits a True Velvet single-coil pickup in the middle position. These pickups offer a warm tone with a tight low end a distinct absence of muddiness.A 5-way selector switch allows you to choose between a variety of series and split configurations, while master volume and tone controls further regulate the output. Gotoh straplocks are provided, as is a hardshell case for transportation. - j.custom Special Neck
- The RG j.custom Super Wizard five-piece maple/wenge neck includes jumbo frets finished with j.custom special fret edge treatment for a smooth, comfortable performance. A Velvetouch finish on the neck back ensures a comfortable feel and facilitates ease of play.
- Selected Rosewood Fingerboard
- This model offers a selected rosewood fingerboard with flamed maple binding and Tree of Life inlay.
- All-Access Neck Joint
- The j.custom special neck joint bolsters playability at the high frets.
- Easy Access Control Knobs
- Recessed control knobs also bolster playability.
- DiMarzio Pickups
- The DiMarzio Air Norton, True Velvet, and Tone Zone pickups offer depth, warmth, and rich dynamics when combined with the 5-way pickup switch.
- Edge Tremolo Bridge
- The Lo-Pro Edge bridge offers playing comfort with a streamlined profile and recessed fine tuners. Locking studs contribute to tuning stability.
