Product description Styled in a surreal blue burst finish, the Ibanez RGA Iron Label Series RGAIX6MQM is an electric guitar precision-built to interpret the minute specificities of your playing. It's double cutaway body is fashioned out of maple and mahogany, with maple employed in the top and mahogany used in the body. Strings are affixed by means of a Gibraltar Standard II fixed bridge, which assures sustain by transferring the resonance of the strings to the body. The three-piece Nitro Wizard neck, bolted onto the body, is constructed out of a combination of maple and purpleheart. It offers a 25.5" scale, as well as a bound Birdseye Maple fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets. You might not notice obvious inlays on the frets themselves, but luminescent side-dot inlays help you orient yourself on darkened stages. At the top of the headstock, sit Gotoh MG-T locking machine heads; these aid in keeping your instrument in tune. For electronics, the guitar is outfitted with two DiMarzio Fusion Edge pickups, humbuckers designed in close quarters with Ibanez to provide searing highs, tight lows, and clear mids. All of these attributes are essential for more metallic genres. You're provided with a single volume knob and a three-way pickup selector. Flick the coil tap switch and you'll have access to thinner, more vintage tones reminiscent of a single-coil configuration, though without the hum. The hardware is black—a color also metal-appropriate. - Nitro Wizard Neck

- DiMarzio Fusion Edge Pickups
-
