Product description Styled in a northern lights burst finish, the Ibanez RG Iron Label Series RGIX6FDLB is a seven-string electric guitar geared towards heavy metal, one that sports an ash body with a laurel burl top. Its Nitro Wizard-7 neck, which has been bolted onto the body, is constructed out of maple and purpleheart, giving you a 24-fret bound ebony fingerboard with off-set white dot inlays. The solid double-cutaway body delivers maximum resonance and sustain, while the Nitro Wizard neck is thin, flat, and fast, yet strong, and provides unlimited playability, even for the most demanding players.
The guitar is equipped with two Fusion Edge pickups designed by DiMarzio in close conjunction with Ibanez. These pickups offer a powerful tone with crisp, articulate highs, a compressed bottom end, and a mud-free midrange. A 3-way pickup selector, in conjunction with a coil-tap switch, lets you choose between a variety of tonal settings. Additionally, the RGIX6FDLB offers single volume control and is fitted with black hardware, including a fixed Gibraltar Standard II-7 bridge, as well as a set of standard die-cast tuners on the headstock. - EMG Pickups
