Product description Styled in cerulean blue burst, the Ibanez S Premium Series S1027PBF is a 7-string electric guitar with a litany of woods used throughout its construction. The body's top is comprised of poplar burl, walnut, curly maple, and panga panga, while the body is fashioned out of African mahogany. The 11-piece, 25.5"-scale Wizard-7 neck truly earns its 11 pieces, utilizing maple, walnut, purpleheart, and panga panga. If you find yourself craving still more panga panga, you'll find it in the bound fingerboard, which also sports 24 jumbo stainless-steel frets. For electronics, this guitar is outfitted with two DiMarzio PAF 7 humbucking pickups, one in the neck and the other in the bridge. A volume and tone knob give you control over your timbre, while a five-way pickup selector allows you to choose series, parallel and split configurations. Strings are anchored to the body by means of a fixed Gibraltar II-7 bridge, and affixed to the headstock with Gotoh locking tuning machines. A gig bag is included with the guitar. - Natural Body Binding
- The exotic body top is complemented with natural binding on the top and sides.
- Premium Fret Edge Treatment
- Attention to detail is evinced by these hand-rolled fret edges. This slow, demanding process makes for a smooth, fast playing neck.
- Stainless Steel Frets
- The stainless-steel frets are known for their bright tone, and they add player-friendly features, such as durability and a smoothness on which to bend.
- 11-Piece Wizard Neck
- The 11-piece Wizard neck, which features a slim grip shape made of panga panga, walnut, maple, and purpleheart contributes to the neck's extreme rigidity, providing much in the way of sustain.
- Luminescent Side-Dot Inlay
- The luminescent side dot position marks make it easy for you to see what you're playing on dark stages.
- DiMarzio Pickups
- The DiMarzio PAF 7 pickups produce a sound that's both clean and open on the low notes and warm and rounded on the high ones.
- Gibraltar Standard II-7 Bridge
- The Gibraltar Standard II-7 is a simple fixed bridge that's designed to unify the guitar's body, thus providing optimal transfer of each string's vibration.
- Gotoh MG-T Locking Machine Heads
- The Gotoh MG-T locking machine heads provide tuning stability and cut down on string changing time.
