Product description - Ibanez SR PREMIUM and NORDSTRAND Pickups with Carey Nordstrand
- New SR Premium
The SR Premium Series SR1905E from Ibanez is a modern 5-string electric bass featuring a ash/rosewood back body with a rosewood top in a natural low gloss finish and a bolt-on Atlas-5 5-piece wenge/bubinga neck with KTS Titanium rods. The rosewood fingerboard sports 24 frets with abalone oval inlays. The solid double-cutaway body delivers maximum resonance and sustain, while the Atlas neck is smooth and fast, providing unlimited playability for the most demanding player.
The Nostrand "Big Single" 5 pickups produce full-bodied, powerful, aggressive tonal textures, while still retaining the clarity that's characteristic of single coil pickups. The active 3-band EQ provides controls for cut/boost over treble, mid, and bass frequencies. A 3-way mid frequency selector switch toggles between 250, 450, and 700 Hz, while the EQ on/off switch turns off the active circuit allowing the treble knob to function as a passive EQ tone circuit. Additionally, the SR1405E offers a single volume and balance controls and is fitted with gold hardware including a Mono-rail V bridge, as well as a set of standard die-cast tuners on the headstock. - Premium Fret Edge Treatment
