Product description The WD7 Weeping Demon is a versatile wah pedal by Ibanez with a broad array of controls, enabling its use in many playing styles and situations. It features spring and normal footboard action, an independent footswitch, auto-off delay, frequency range selector, frequency range fine tuning, level control, and adjustable Q and low-pass filter (called LO on the pedal). Both the pedal friction and spring tension are also adjustable. The pedal is powered by one 9V battery or an optional AC adapter (sold separately). The WD7 also features an LED indicator that alerts you when the effect is on and serves as a battery check to inform you when to change the battery. The three "Tone-Lok" knobs can be pushed down to rest flush with the pedal's body, which will help maintain their settings and protect them during transportation. The circuitry is true bypass, so that when the effect is off your tone remains uncompromised. - Auto-Off Delay
- In the auto-switch mode, you can set the effect-off either on standard instant-off when the pedal is returned to the full upright position or a delayed-off by turning the control clockwise
- Mode Lever
- Changes the mode so the effect can be turned on and off with the footswitch or with the auto switch (effect turns off when pedal is in the upright position)
- Footswitch
- Allows on-off switching of the effect independent of the footboard when the mode lever is in the footswitch mode
- Spring Tension
- Adjusts the tension of the footboard return-spring in the auto switch mode
- Pedal Friction
- Adjusts the friction of the footboard when in footswitch mode.
- Range Switch and Fine Tuning
- Range switch for switching between low and high frequency response. High is a conventional wah, ideal for guitar, while low is better suited for bass or seven-string guitars
The range fine tuning allows fine tuning within either the low or high range switch settings - Tone-Lok Knobs
- The level, Q, and LO controls are all Tone-Lok knobs, which can be pushed down to lock into a position flush with the pedal's body. This will help maintain the knobs' settings and provides additional safety during transportation.
