Product description The 24R1922 TotalStorage LTO Ultrium 3 Tape Cartridge from IBM is a data cartridge for the LTO Ultrium Generation 3 storage environments. The 24R1922 provides up to 400GB of native storage or up to 800GB with 2:1 compression. The cartridge is embedded with an LTO Cartridge Memory (LTO-CM) chip, which is designed to enable fast, simultaneous transfer of cartridge-dependent data with IBM tape drives during media load and unload cycles. The gray cartridge color helps distinguish it from previous generations of IBM LTO Ultrium media. The LTO Ultrium 3 data cartridges are compatible with LTO Generation 3 tape drives and tape libraries utilizing LTO generation 3 drives from IBM and other LTO generation 2 compliant suppliers. - 400GB (800GB with 2:1 Compression) Tape Capacity
