Product description The ExpressCage 6-Bay 2.5" SAS/SATA Drive Cage from Icy Dock occupies a desktop's 5.25" bay to provide your system with six hot-swap 2.5" storage drive bays. These drive bays support internal 2.5" SSDs and HDDs that feature a SAS or SATA interface. Furthermore, the bays are able to accommodate 5 to 9.5mm tall drives. Mounting your drives is quick and easy with the included ExpressTrays, which attach to a drive via built-in screws and a rear tab. Screw holes are also available beneath the tray to provide additional stability. For cooling, two 40mm fans are on board while an adjustable speed jumper lets you set the fan's speed to High, Low, or Auto. Powering all six drives can be accomplished via two 15-pin SATA power connections. Moreover, Active Power Technology keeps the enclosure powered down until a drive is inserted. - Houses up to six 2.5" SATA/SAS HDDs and SSDs in a single 5.25" bay
- Compatible with SATA III 6 Gbps or a SAS single channel (requires SAS host)
- Hot-swappable bays for quick drive installation
- Accommodates 2.5" drives that are 5mm, 7mm, or 9.5mm tall
- Active Power Technology (APT) - only powers up when a drive is installed in a drive bay
- Removable ExpressTray system for tool-less, easy installation comparable to tray-less designs
- Bottom mounted screw holes for increased stability
- Blue indicator LED provided for each bay
- Two 40mm upgradeable fans for drive cooling
- 3-pin fan headers to support most aftermarket fan upgrades
- 2 x 15-pin SATA power connections power all six drives
- Locking latch design for both 7-pin SATA connector and 15-pin power adapter
- Fan speed control for High, Low, and Auto (smart cooling) settings
- Metal case with heavy duty ABS tray and door latch
