Product description The black EZ-Fit Lite Dual 2.5" to 3.5" SSD/HDD Mounting Bracket from Icy Dock fits one or two 2.5" SATA/IDE Solid State Drives (SSDs) or Hard Disk Drives (HDDs) into one 3.5" drive bay. It supports 2.5" SSDs or HDDs with 7 to 9.5mm drive height. The bracket is ideal for Home Theater PC Systems (HTPC), gaming PCs, or mini-IPX systems. - Tool-Less Drive Installation
- The EZ-Fit Lite is a user-friendly 2.5" HDD/SSD bracket. It accepts up to two 2.5" SATA or IDE SSD/HDD drives with 7 to 9.5mm drive height, and uses a flex design system to simplify the drive installation process. All you need to do is insert the drive and push inwards until it "clicks." It has self adjusting tabs on the side that automatically conform to different drive heights (7 and 9.5mm) to securely lock it in place. In addition, the eject button allows for quick hard drive swapping, without removing the entire bracket from the chassis.
- Design
- It provides 60 screw holes to accommodate 3.5" bay installation in practically every computer chassis. In addition, there are 12 different ways to mount the EZ-Fit Lite in your system in comparison to the two positions you get with a standard 3.5" drive. This gives you the option to fine tune and adjust drive installation. There are screw holes located on top of the unit as well as at the bottom to give you extra compatibility. Furthermore, the screw holes provide a backup measure in case of installation failure.
- Lightweight with Cooling
- The EZ-Fit Lite is constructed with robust ABS plastic and fuses desirable traits such as durability and lightweight. 1-piece construction means there are less moving parts to be concerned with, which in turn means it's less likely to break. This makes it cost efficient. The frame has a weightless flexible stabilizer that secures the drive in place and provides shock absorption and anti-vibration properties, which is great for protecting your drives against impact. The open air design allows the drive to be cooled by the fans in the chassis. With its skeletal design, the EZ-Fit Lite allows airflow in all the crucial areas of the drive which enhances drive performance. Elevated ridges on the platform raise the drive just enough to allow heat dispersion keeping your SSD/HDD cooler. Side vents are also included in the bracket to let heat escape.
