Product description The EZConvert Air 2.5" to 3.5" Drive Bay Adapter from Icy Dock utilizes a single 3.5" bay and converts it into a 2.5" slot for a hard drive or solid state drive up to 15 mm tall. It has an open air design with multiple holes for ventilation to ensure that your drives stay cool and functional. The bottom mounting screw holes allow you to secure the drive firmly in place. Furthermore, the EZConvert adapter also supports SAS drives provided that you have a SAS host. - Design
- With a self-adjusting spring tension drive clamp, the EZConvert Air keeps your drive stable while also providing shock absorption. Simply press on the latch to open the locking mechanism, insert your SSD or hard drive, and close the latch.
- SATA PCB Bridge
- The built-in SATA PCB bridge protects your HDD/SSD connector from wearing out during insertion and removal, and it delivers the full speed of SATA 6 Gbps without any speed reduction due to its pass-through design.
