Product description The silver EZConvert Pro Enterprise 2.5" to 3.5" SATA HDD/SSD Converter from Icy Dock is a small form factor SATA SSD and HDD converter that is designed using the dimensions, connection locations, and mounting hole positions of a standard 3.5" SATA drive, so that it can be used in any internal hard drive bay, as well as with backplane and hot-swap modules. The converter utilizes a full metal design, creating a suitable environment for cooling, as well as giving it a rock solid construction for industrial, enterprise, and military applications. It can handle 2.5" SATA drives, including the 2.5" SSD, Western Digital VelociRaptor 10K rpm drives and high-capacity 1TB hard drives. The converter features Smart-Fit Technology that secures the drive in place, whether it is a thin 7mm or a thick 15mm drive. The converter also includes an effortless installation process without any tools or screws, ventilation slots to keep a drive running cool and efficient. The top, front and rear of the drive allow air to flow through, and a special vent at the bottom gives a visual confirmation that the drive has made a secure connection. - Heavy-duty full metal construction designed for medical and military systems, media servers, and IPCs, approved and used by Tier 1 companies
