Product description The IDX 2 x 48Wh 14.4V Li-Ion Battery Kit with D-Tap Advanced Battery Charger is a B&H kit that provides you with two 48Wh BP-U-type batteries and a battery charger. Each battery features a D-Tap Advanced port that can provide power for accessories or can be used to charge the battery via the included D-Tap Advanced charger.
The 2A charger allows you to charge just one battery at a time. It provides charge only to the D-Tap Advanced port and will not, in the course of normal use, fit into a standard D-Tap port. It monitors the cells in your battery and can charge at an accelerated rate compared to a trickle charger. - 2 x IDX System Technology 14.4V Li-Ion Battery for Sony BP-U Mount Cameras (48Wh) This 48Wh IDX 14.4V Li-Ion Battery for Sony BP-U Mount Cameras provides power for your Sony FS7, FS5, and PMW-series cameras. It incorporates a USB port and D-Tap Advanced power port which can be used for powering your accessories. A four-LED gauge indicates the charge state of your battery. The battery's internal circuitry provides over-charge, over-discharge, and high load overcurrent protection.
- This battery is compatible with and powers Sony FS5, FS7, and PMW-series cameras.
- It incorporates a USB port and D-Tap Advanced power port which can be used for powering your accessories.
- The D-Tap Advanced port is compatible with D-Tap plugs for power output. However, with a compatible charger (not included), you can charge the battery via the D-Tap Advanced port.
- The USB output port is not a data port and is only for power. It provides 5V at 2.3A. It is an A-type connector and becomes active when you push and hold the CHECK/USB ON button for longer than three seconds. It will turn off once the cable has been removed or no power has been drawn for more than 30 minutes.
