Product description The IDX CW-1 Wireless Transmission System with TX & RX Adapters and Sony L Series Kit from B&H includes a low latency wireless HDMI TX/RX set, Sony type L series battery adapters for the set, and two L series type batteries. The TX/RX set wirelessly transmits 1080p30/i60 uncompressed video with embedded audio up to 328 ft with less than 1 ms latency. It operates over WHDI smart antenna technology on the license free 5 GHz frequency band. The battery adapters allow powering the TX/RX with L series batteries. The adapter for the TX can be shoe mounted on a camera along with the TX. - IDX System Technology Battery Adapter for CW-1 TX Transmitter (L-Series) Power your CW1-TX Transmitter with an L-Series battery using this dedicated Battery Adapter from IDX. The adapter features a cold shoe on the bottom and a receptacle on the side that holds the transmitter, so you can camera-mount the entire setup as a single unit.
The cold shoe is secured into a 1/4"-20 mounting thread on the bottom of the adapter by a 1/4"-20 screw that comes out of its other end. It can be removed to reveal the mounting thread to allow other ways of mounting the adapter. It can also be flipped over and attached into a sled on the bottom of the adapter, in which case it will provide you with a 1/4"-20 screw to use to mount the adapter.
The adapter features a USB output and plugs into the CW-1 transmitter via a USB connection. You can use the USB-to-mini-USB cable included with the CW-1 system. The L-Series battery is sold separately. The adapter features a 5V USB port and comes with a USB-to-Barrel DC cable for connecting to the receiver. Additionally, a 1/4"-20 mounting thread is available on the bottom for possible mounting.
