• 2 x IDX System Technology ENDURA ELITE 14.8V 136Wh Lithium-Ion V-Mount Battery The IDX ENDURA ELITE offers a 9.2Ah, 136Wh capacity to support the higher loads of HD cameras.
  Dual Power Cartridges
  • Two identical PC-14 power cartridges are housed inside the outer casing of the ELITE. This design allows for an easy exchange of cartridges, reducing the cost of replacement batteries.
  Battery Protection
  • Built into Individual Power Cartridges:
    Overcharge (reset)
    Over-discharge (reset)
    Overcurrent (reset)
    Temperature protection (non reset)
  Digi-View
  • Digi-View gives the camera operator an accurate display of the ELITES's remaining capacity, shown via the camera's viewfinder.
  LED Indicators
  • Five LEDs are located on the side of the ELITE with 10 settings to display remaining battery capacity. This is done in increments of 10% by full/flashing combination of the five LEDs.
  Battery Circuit Protection
  • Battery circuit protection ensures the ELITE is fully protected against common causes of battery misuse, guarding against overcharge, over-discharge, overcurrent, and exposure to high temperatures. This high level of protection is built into both PC-14 power cartridges.
  Charging Options
  • The ELITE can be charged using IDX sequential or simultaneous ENDURA chargers (VL-2SPLUS or VL-4S series).

• IDX System Technology VL-2 Battery Charger/Power Supply The VL-2 is a two-channel, sequential Li-Ion (Lithium-Ion) fast charger with a built-in 60W power supply. Up to two Li-Ion Endura V-mount batteries can be charged in 5 hours.
  Portability
  • The VL-2 offers a lightweight design (3.3lbs) with a convenient built-in handle.
  V-Mount
  • The highly reliable V-Mount, battery mount is becoming more and more prevalent on many new broadcast and professional camcorders. In response, IDX has adapted the design of their batteries and chargers to with the V-Mount design.
    
  Condition Indicator
  • An LED condition indicator is offers a quick glance of each batteries charge status.
  Battery Chemistries
  • The optional A-E2NP allows the VL-2 to charge NP style batteries of any one of the following chemistries:
  • Li-Ion (Lithium Ion)
  • NiCd (Nickel Cadmium)
  • NiMH (Nickel Metal Hydride)
  Power Supply
  • A standard 4-Pin Canon type connector is available on the front panel for 60 watts of DC power.
  • Red (charging)
  • Green (complete/trickle)
  • Orange (battery fault)
  World-Wide AC Power
  • As with all IDX chargers, the VL-2's power switch is recessed to prevent an accidental loss of power. A world-wide, auto-sensing AC power (AC 100-240V) operation is standard.

It features a 4-Pin XLR male connector on one end and a female 4-Pin XLR connector on the other end.
