Product description Reduce the noise caused by USB ground loops with the iFi Audio iDefender3.0 USB Ground Loop Isolator. It is designed for use with DACs for breaking the ground connection while enabling normal handshake operation. It features a USB 3.0 input and output, plus a micro-USB connector for connecting a 5 VDC power supply. - Break Off from Noisy Power
- For DACs that only use USB for handshake, the iDefender3.0 breaks the ground connection, eliminating ground loops, while allowing for normal handshake operation.
- Designed to Provide Clean Power
- For DACs that require USB power, a micro-USB connector is provided for a 5 VDC supply; any 5V power supply can be used.
- Disconnects the USB power from your computer and replaces it with clean external power
- USB 3.0 technology, backward-compatible with USB 2.0
