Product description The iEMatch Micro Headphone Matcher from iFi-Audio is for removing hiss and improving dynamics in the audio when listening with headphones. The micro headphone-matcher can be used to reduce background noise, improve dynamic range, and increase the usable volume-control range with headphones or IEMs because they are either too loud, or there is excessive hiss from the music source.Add the iEMatch in-between the headphones and the amplifier, set the controls to either high- or ultra-sensitivity, and sit back to enjoy the music. It is built tough using premium components and features 1/8" TRRS connections on both ends. Each gold-plated jack is fully balanced. A velvet pouch, a gold-plated airplane adapter, and memory foam contoured ear plugs (-37 dB) are also included. - High or Ultra Sensitivity
- Dynamics, or more precisely the 'Dynamic Range' is the difference between maximum usable sound level and background noise level. Having very sensitive (very loud) headphones means both the self-noise of the source and the sound level is boosted. When the sound volume must be reduced to get comfortable listening levels, what remains is more noise and a reduced dynamic range
- Balanced or Single-Ended for 3.5mm
- The iEMatch uses 3.5mm TRRS connections on both ends and is fully-balanced, so it takes full advantage of the balanced wiring for any suitably equipped headphones
- Precision Components
- The iEMatch is packed with premium components from the 6063-TS aluminum-magnesium alloy through to the signal transfer cable, which is a 6N silver copper matrix. The whole is even better than the sum of these parts – it just makes for the most transparent, enjoyment of music
- Ready for Travelling All Over the World
- The iEMatch comes with a velvet pouch, a gold-plated airplane adapter, and memory-foam contoured ear plugs (-37 dB) for peace and quiet when travelling
