Product description Designed for use with Android phones, the Micro-USB to USB Type-A OTG Cable from iFi AUDIO extracts the digital signal from your DAC (digital-to-analog converter) to provide a a more stable connection and improved audio clarity as music hits your eardrums. On one end, there is a 5-pin micro-USB connection (male) for interfacing with your Android device, while the other end has a USB Type-A connection (female) to interface with your DAC.
Audio quality is further bolstered by OFHC (oxygen-free high thermal conductivity) copper construction, which acts as an efficient conductor and removes virtually all oxygen from the signal. This cable also adheres to the USB On-The-Go (OTG) specification, which allows USB devices, such as smartphones, to act as a host, allowing other USB devices to be attached to them.
