Product description Featuring the iFootage Carbon Fiber Shark Slider S1 with its standard rails, plus two sets of extension rails, this bundle lets you switch between 25", 47", and 71" sliding lengths. The extension rails attach to the standard rails to increase the overall length. One set of rails is longer than the other, and only one set can be attached at a time. The payload is 15 lb when the slider is used at standard length, 11 lb when extended to a 42" sliding length, and 33 lb when extended to the maximum 71" sliding range. Longer drive belts are also supplied to support the increased lengths, and a padded carrying bag is included that can fit the entire bundle. - iFootage Carbon Fiber Shark Slider S1 Bundle The Carbon Fiber Shark Slider S1 Bundle from iFootage includes the Shark Slider S1 -- with the flywheel -- and adds extension rails and a longer drive belt. The standard S1 is 31" long end-to-end and features a 25" sliding length, and with the additional rails the sliding length is increased to 47". The S1 comes with a padded carrying bag which can fit the additional accessories of this bundle as well.
The Shark Slider S1 is a modular slider supporting up to 15 lb loads (11 lb with extension rails) and offering smooth movement thanks to silent bearings, synchronous belts, and a flywheel that adds inertia. The flywheel adds a damping effect to your slides, ensuring smooth acceleration/deceleration as opposed to jerky starts and stops. It achieves this through its centrifugal force while the slider belt is connected to it. The S1 can be completely taken apart with just one included hex wrench and the different components packed separately, if you want. The end pieces offer adjustable feet that spread out in triangular form to add extra stability. The mounting plate attached on the bottom of the sliding carriage is also designed with stability in mind and is screwed into the carriage at four corners to minimize vibration when the slider is mounted on a tripod. The S1 offer has a 3/8"-16 camera mounting screw, and 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 tripod mount threaded holes. The carbon fiber rails provide for better corrosion resistance than aluminum and also allow for a lighter system. The S1 supports longer rails from iFootage for a total sliding length of 70". It also supports the S1A1 and S1A3 Wireless Motion Controllers, and the Motion X2 System, which provides 360° camera movement. - Key Features
