Product description Cinematic Percussion from IK Multimedia is a virtual instrument that features the authentic percussion sounds of blockbuster Hollywood movies. It includes a collection of audio loops recorded at ten different source tempos, a collection of MIDI patterns performed by both Greg Ellis and the IK sound design team, and single-hit instruments recorded using multiple velocities and round robin techniques (multiple samples per note/hit).
Over 300 drums, from the traditional to the esoteric, were recorded at Ellis's private studio, using top-quality microphones and preamps to preserve and reproduce the unique character and personality of each piece. While the library was inspired by his work for Hollywood movies, the percussion can be used anywhere natural and human elements are required.
It can function standalone or as a plug-in instrument when loaded into the company's free SampleTank Custom Shop, or as a loaded instrument in SampleTank 3 or SE workstations. - Instruments
