  • iKlip A/V smartphone broadcast mount - Overview
  The iKlip A/V from IK Multimedia is a sturdy handheld grip for smartphones that features a built-in microphone preamp as part of its construction. It comes stocked with a side clip for wireless systems, should you choose to utilize those. Conversely, you can opt to plug a microphone straight into the iKlip's XLR input, and once connected, connect the microphone into your smartphone's mini-jack via a 1/8" cable. The unit runs on two AA batteries.
  
  Don't let the lower-case "i" in the name fool you: the adjustable vice grip is compatible with android devices, iOS devices, or any smartphone with a screen size between 3.5" and 6". Its preamp supports 48V phantom power and sports controls to change the gain, thus allowing the smartphone holder to control the volume of the microphone in use. Such a feature renders this unit suitable for on-the-go reporting, improved home videography, and the burgeoning business of the iPhone motion picture. With two AA batteries, it can last between 20 to 60 hours at a clip, depending on whether or not you're using phantom power.

  The Polsen HDR-10 is a handheld omnidirectional dynamic microphone that uniformly captures sound on- or off-axis. This makes it ideal for audio and video applications like ENG and interviews, because it can pick up sound in a 360° pattern. The frequency response is tailored for speech, resulting in a natural sound with clear dialogue intelligibility.
  
  The capsule is isolated in rubber to reduce handling noise, and the integrated metal mesh windscreen and included foam windscreen lower wind noise and plosive sounds. The body of the microphone is constructed from cast aluminum alloy to provide durability and a professional appearance.

  The black Kopul Premium Performance 3000 Series XLR M to XLR F Microphone Cable (6') is designed to be an extremely quiet and flexible cable that is ideal for the most demanding live sound and performance applications. The cable is engineered to be durable and to provide protection against EMI, RFI, and static noise. While the cable's color-coding affords the ability to quickly differentiate between multiple connections on stage, it provides a pleasant aesthetic quality at the same time.
  
  Premium Performance 3000 Series cables are made from 24-AWG OFC copper wire that's wrapped with PE insulation and a conductive PVC inner shield. A cotton-yarn inner layer helps reduce electrostatic and microphonic noise. 95% dual-spiral shielding makes the cable resistant to EMI and RFI noise. The Neutrik XX silver connectors provide a high level of connectivity, and all the solder connections are shrink-wrapped for protection.

  The WMC-100 Wide Mouth Case from Auray is designed to hold and protect your microphone and accessories such as cables, mic clips, shock mount, small audio recorder, memory cards, and more. This wide mouth case features a single compartment with a fabric-hinged lid that closes with a wrap-around zipper on three sides.
  
  With a length of 11.5", the WMC-100 case can accommodate a long-handled interview microphone while remaining roomy enough for a mic flag, too. Smaller items can be secured in an interior storage pouch under the top lid with a touch-fastening tab closure.
  
  For added shock and impact protection, there's also an inner layer of foam padding. The interior is lined with faux fur to prevent scratches. To help guard against impact, dust and moisture, the exterior of the case is made of 600D ballistic nylon.
