Product description Available for download, the IK Multimedia T-RackS 5 EQual is a 10-band parametric equalizer with a transparent sound, making it suitable for use in mastering applications and mixing scenarios alike. Though transparent, a variety of available filter shapes are on hand to mimic the classic curves of API consoles, SSL mixers, Neve units, and more, allowing you to apply a little color (or in the case of Neve, colour) if need be.
You can click bands in as necessary and select the type of band individually, based on your needs. Depending on the curve you choose, controls are provided below for gain, frequency, Q, order, resonance, and more. The plug-in can operate in mono, stereo, dual/mono, and M/S, giving you the ability to adjust the left and right channels separately, or manipulate the apparent center differently from the sides. Thus, you can scoop out unneeded bass from the sides while leaving the center alone, or notch out a nasty frequency in the snare from the center while leaving the sides unaffected.
Feel free to use EQual on drums, instruments, vocals, and even whole mixes. It's compatible with Mac and Windows operating systems and works within audio units, VST, and AAX formats. - Key Features at a Glance
