Product description Available for download, The IK Multimedia T-RackS 5 Master Match gives you a combination of EQ, automatic gain adjustment, and limiting, to match the timbre and levels of your favorite reference material. Operation is simple: Load in three reference tracks, select the sections you'd like to use, play your mix, and click the match button. If done correctly, the software will automatically instantiate a bespoke EQ curve and a level adjustment to match the references.
With two sliders—one for EQ and the other for level—you can fine-tune the amount of matching in both arenas. There's also a mode switch for cycling between matching algorithms, one of which is smoother than the other.
For further EQ adjustments, you can click in up to ten independent bands into the curve. This allows you to counter-balance personal choices against the matching curve. So, if you actually want your track a little more hefty in the 100 Hz region, and Master Match is taking putting a notch in at this frequency, you can click in your own adjustment, which will be scalable when you use the slider.
This is a plug-in version of a module that exists within the T-RackS 5 ecosystem. Indeed, in T-RackS 5 itself, you can transport the curve applied by Master Match into most of the other visual EQs in T-RackS 5.
