Product description Available for download, the IK Multimedia T-RackS 5 ONE is an all-in-one mastering processor designed to be an intuitive, yet powerful tool. It's a three band EQ. It's a compressor. It can expand the bass frequencies, limit the mix, or change the width of your signal. With its nine relatively simple controls, you can tailor and shape the mix into the sonic picture you see in your head.
To the left, you'll note general EQ controls, such as Air for boosting or attenuating high frequencies, Focus for sculpting the midrange, and Body for subtle bass shaping. To enhance the lows even more, simply use the Bass Punch knob on the right, which both boosts and tightens the bottom end. Analog provides a touch of harmonic excitement, while the Transients knob either preserves, amplifies, or curtails the perception of percussive activity in the mix. A single knob Width control is on hand, as are over all Push and Volume knobs for compression and gain respectively.
Feel free to use EQual on drum busses, instrument busses, or whole mixes. It's compatible with Mac and Windows operating systems, and works within audio units, VST, AAX formats. - Color and Transient Controls
- The Bass Punch knob controls the low-end boost and tightness of the sound at the same time, while the Analog knob adds in a touch of harmonic excitement for color. The Transients knob can either enhance or smooth out the most percussive signals in the track, giving you control over the right amount of transient heft.
- One-Knob Width Control
- In the center of the ONE module, the Width control lets you fine-tune the stereo image of your track, giving the mix a wider feel or reigning in the sides to avoid phase problems.
- Push and Volume Knobs
- At the core of the ONE module are the Push and Volume knobs. Push is a single control that makes adjusting compression an easy and natural process, while volume increases the ultimate gain without adding noticeable artifacts.
