Product description The ikan 5 x 7" Dry Erase Insert Slate with Soft Case Kit from contains a dry erase insert slate measuring 5 x 7" and a soft case to protect the slate during transport. See below for more information. - ikan Mini Insert Slate The Mini Insert Slate from ikan works with available dry erase markers, it allows you to write the basic shot information useful to editors, in shots that are too tight for full sized slates. The slate is for information purposes, as it does not include clap-sticks for double system sound. The slate is translucent, allowing you to back-light it, and avoid glare and reflections that can obscure the information on the slate.
The slate fits into both the ikan iLED312 and MB4 light units, and features a notch that allows it to lock into the iLED312 or MB4 so you can back-light the slate and it won't accidentally fall out during use. The slate has rounded corners so it slips easily in and out of pockets. A pre-drilled hole allows you to attach the slate to available key chains, cords, or hooks to keep it handy.
