Product description The ikan Blitz 2000 Pro Wireless 3G-SDI/HDMI Transmitter and Receiver Kit is a professional wireless solution for productions that require uncompressed, point-to-point HD video, up to 1080p60 and 10-bit 4:2:2 sampling, with no perceptible delay. This kit includes the Blitz 1000 transmitter and receiver along with a directional panel antenna to achieve the 2000' distance rating. In ideal line-of-sight conditions, transmission distances can even exceed this rating up to around 3297'. Both the transmitter and receiver have HDMI and SDI connections. Cross-conversion between the two inputs is possible, so you can use your HDMI-enabled camcorder with a professional SDI monitor and vice-versa. All the connection equipment, cables, and mounting equipment required to operate this system are included, and when you're done filming, put the Blitz system away inside the included hard case for protection during storage and transport. - Near-Zero Delay and 2000' Range
- The Blitz supports video transmission with imperceptible delay, making it suitable for situations where timing is critical, such as when working with wireless follow focus systems. It features a 2000' range to give you the freedom to move about without having to worry about losing signal.
- Uncompressed Video
- Many wireless systems compress video, negatively affecting the video quality and introducing delay. The Blitz 2000 Pro sends uncompressed video, allowing for zero delay because the system doesn't spend time compressing and uncompressing. The Blitz supports up to 1080p60 uncompressed video.
- Mount System
- The Blitz 2000 Pro was designed with mounting points for ikan's Quick Mount system, giving you more options for mounting to various gear such as a monitor. With this system, you'll spend less time on trying to figure out how to rig up the Blitz, and more on getting the best shot.
- Inputs and Outputs
- It supports both HDMI 1.3 and 3G-SDI, so you get uncompressed high-definition video up to 1080p60. The Blitz systems are also capable of cross-converting whatever signal you are feeding them, allowing you to switch from SDI to HDMI, or HDMI to SDI.
- Battery Power
- The battery plate comes pre-installed and allows you to power the units easily and reliably. The transmitter uses the Sony L-series style batteries, and the receiver relies on a V-mount battery. The units also include 4-pin LEMO compatible power connectors so you can supply power externally with the included D-Tap cables. This allows you to use the same pro batteries that are powering your camera to power the Blitz as well.
- Durable, Reliable, and Easy to Use
- The Blitz 1000 Pro is made from durable, machined aluminum and is easy to set up. You don't have to mess with complicated menus or setups with its simple-to-use wireless channel selection switch. Just power on the units and they will sync in about 20 seconds or less. The transmitter is small and lightweight so it can be mounted just about anywhere, including your camera's shoe mount. The receiver features five external antennas to ensure a strong signal, as well as four signal-strength LED indicators. This way you always have a clear indication of your signal strength.
