Product description LED sources have been a staple of the image-making industry for some time now and there's been a trend gathering steam to build small sources that can shape-shift into alternate form factors as the need arises - one of these is ikan's CB6 Round Canvas Bi-Color Bendable LED Panel. In its simplest form the CB5 is a 14" diameter LED mat that can be mounted or even taped into tight spaces for close-up shots in car or boat interiors. Using the fixture's controller, color temperature can be varied from 2800 to 6500K to match any ambient light situation or just for creative expression. Its high CRI/TLCI rating indicates impressive accuracy in color rendering. Light intensity can be varied too, from 10 to 100%, without flicker. Unlike most rigid fixtures, ikan separates the controller box from to LED mat to allow it to be bent and folded to conform or fit into tight spaces and to take advantage of the mat's water-resistant qualities. But what if you need a rigid fixture for stand-mounting? ikan has that covered too, with the provision of the X-Holder that stretches the 14" diameter LED mat taught so it can be mounted to its unique 5/8" combination pin/receiver that offers vertical or horizontal orientation for optimal tilting and angling. The controller can be hung from the stand using the included strap. The unit comes with a circular softbox to take the edge off the bright LEDs and a fabric grid that provides directional control for selective lighting. The CB6 is ready for worldwide use thanks to its 120 to 240 VAC power supply, but you can also run it on V-Mount or DV batteries via its integrated battery plates. - Color Rendition
- The high CRI/TLCI ratings of 95/96 ensure that you get a very accurate rendition of color 2800 to 6500K color temperature range.
- Bendable Fabric LEDs
- This canvas fixture is a lightweight solution to a variety of lighting problems. The CB6 conforms to tight spaces that prohibit use of a traditional fixture.
- Beam Angle
- The wide 120-degree beam spread provides ample coverage for a variety of uses. With or without the included soft box, the CB6 renders soft, flattering light, with moderate contrast that can be directed like a reflector with the included egg crate grid.
- X-Holder and Mounting Pin
- The X-Holder mount with 5/8" receiver is rigid enough structure the fixture. The Baby Pin Mount has a 90-degree receiver hole that allows X-Holder to be mounted vertically or horizontally on the stand for greater positioning options.
- CB6 Controller
- The controller gives you complete control to adjust the color temperature from 2800 to 6500K and light intensity from 10 to 100%. The controller includes a 6' extension cable.
- Power Options
- The Canvas CB6 can be powered by V-Mount pro batteries or convenient of DV batteries, thanks to its battery plates.
- Tungsten Equivalent
- The CB6 is equivalent to a 200W incandescent soft light while it only draws 120W.
