Product description - D24 Native 4K Production Monitor | Ikan Tech Corner
Suitable for both location and studio work, ikan's D24 - 23.8" Native Ultra HD 4K Monitor with Quad Split Display and 3G-SDI, HDMI 2.0 Input that features a native 1920 x 1080 IPS LCD panel and loop-through SD/HD/3G-SDI, and HDMI inputs and outputs. The removable desk stand features three 1/4"-20 threaded mounting holes that provide a variety of mounting possibilities. The monitor displays 4K DCI, 4K UHD, HD and even SD video. It autosenses whether the input is NTSC, PAL, or SECAM compatible and autoselects the correct display system. The 3G-SDI input loops through to the 3G-SDI output, so you can easily display your video and send it down stream without requiring a splitter. HDMI input #1 supports the HDMI 2.0 protocol, allowing the monitor to input a 4K signal, the other three inputs support the HDMI 1.4 protocol. Although the HDMI inputs are not loop through, the monitor can display all four HDMI inputs simultaneously as a quad split display.
The IPS screen provides good color and contrast, even when the screen is viewed from off-axis. The monitor incorporates a variety of image display tools including; peaking, picture-in-picture, image freeze, over scan, zoom, and check field. On-screen Tally indication allows you to use this for monitoring a multi-camera shoot. The monitor includes a removable desk stand for support and is powered via 12 VDC via a 4-pin XLR or V-Mount battery plate. - HD Resolution
- The IPS LCD screen features 3840 x 2160 resolution, which provides you a crisp image, and the IPS technology provides a 178° viewing angle, left to right and top to bottom.
- User Interface
- The front panel features an On/Off switch, discrete input select, four assignable function buttons, menu, left, right, and exit button.
- Inputs
- The D24 features a loop-through 3G-SDI input/output, as well as four HDMI inputs, which can be used to display a quad view with each input displayed on one quadrant of the screen. HDMI inputs 2, 3, and 4 support HDMI 1.4, while HDMI input 1 supports the HDMI 2.0 protocol.
