Product description The Ikegami FE-100A/K2 Fiber Extension System transmits signals between the HDS-V10 camcorder and a base station, over a distance up to 500 meters (1,640 ft). Using a long-distance SMPTE hybrid fiber cable to connect the base unit (FE-B100A) and on-camera adapter (FE-C100A), the FE-100A transmits HD-SDI, camera control, intercom, genlock, intercom and audio signals for use in professional ENG/SNG/EFP applications.An optional studio viewfinder can be mounted directly on the FE-C100A for manned operation, while an additional power supply will extend the system's range up to 2 kilometers (1.24 miles).
