Product description The Ikegami Fiber Optic Camera Transceiver system allows simultaneous transportation of digital (SDI or HD/SDI) and analog (NTSC or PAL) program video, as well as all 2-way camera control, audio, video, data, tally/call and intercom signals between the camera and the base station.
A 2-channel intercom allows the signals to be transferred between the camera and the base station. The Fiber Optic Camera Transceiver is capable for use in long distance applications and supports battery mount options for Anton/Bauer, "V" Mount, or PAGTM, and consumes less power.
All camera signals from the Fiber Optic Camera Transceiver are transmitted through a lightweight fiber cable. It features up to 22 dB optical range with DFB (distributed feedback) option, and transmits broadcast quality audio and video.
Transmitting all signals optically and digitally, the transceiver removes interference, grounding problems or drifting due to temperature variations from the video signal, thereby offering high quality video. The Fiber Optic Camera Transceiver employs 2 fiber cable options, a tactical fiber that requires a local power supply to the camera and SMPTE Hybrid Fiber that delivers 150 W power to the camera.
The SMPTE Hybrid Fiber when connected to an internal power supply delivers 95W power to the camera at a distance of up to 780’ (213m) and when connected to an external power supply delivers 100W power to the camera at a distance of up to 1.2 miles (2km). Additionally the tactical fiber cable offers power to the camera locally.
Up to 8 CopperHead 3200 systems can be multiplexed on a single strand of fiber by using a Telecast's "TelePort" system. - Allows simultaneous transportation of digital (SDI or HD/SDI) and analog (NTSC or PAL) program video, as well as all 2-way camera control, audio, video, data, tally/call and intercom signals between the camera and the base station
