Product description To save you the time and hassle involved in putting together an outdoor camera system on your own, Ikegami presents you with the KIT-879 OD5 camera package. In this kit you'll find the ICD-879 color box camera, a 10-40mm varifocal lens, an outdoor housing with mounting bracket and a power supply. Through the use of a 1/2" CCD along with a Day/Night function and advanced electronic controls, the ICD-879 camera is able to generate outstanding quality video images in virtually any lighting or scene situation. With the camera's high level of performance and with the housing's built-in heater and blower, here's a system you can count on to faithfully secure your outdoor perimeters. - Optimized for Day & Night Surveillance
- When light levels fall, the camera switches from color to an ultra sensitive B/W mode while removing an IR cut filter from the front of the CCD. As a result, the camera is able to produce visible images in light levels down to 0.005 lux.
- Intelligent BLC
- A sophisticated BLC function helps the camera cope with scenes exhibiting high contrast and backlighting.
- User Adjustable Image Controls
- While most box cameras offer some sort of auto picture controls, all of this camera's controls are user adjustable. There are multiple settings for Day/Night, AGC, White Balance, Detail Correction, BLC and Electronic Shutter functions. There is also a Privacy Mask function to block certain areas from appearing on the monitor for privacy or legal reasons.
- Optional Coaxial Remote Control Available
- You can access camera controls via buttons on the back of the camera or from a distance using the optional RCU-801 Remote Control Unit. The great thing about this controller is that it communicates with the camera via the same coaxial BNC cable used to transmit video, eliminating the need to run a separate control cable. This controller also has an RS-232C connector for controlling the camera from a PC using Ikegami's I-LAN camera control program.
- Low Smear and Noise
- A large (1/2") CCD, improved DSP, 115dB S/N ratio - all come together to produce an outstanding quality picture with minimal noise and light smearing. This feature is particularly useful in reducing the obscuring effects of streaks and halos caused by a vehicle's headlights.
- CRT/LCD Monitor Switch
- To compensate for the different ways a CRT and LCD monitor processes video signals, this camera has an LCD/CRT monitor switch.
- Includes 24VAC Power Supply
- The included power supply can be used to power both the camera and housing.
- 10-Year Warranty (on Camera)
- You'll appreciate the fact that the camera in this package comes with a 10-year warranty, a time period unheard of in the CCTV industry.
