Product description Use this Ikelite 1" Double-Ball Arm Extension Mark II with 12" length to extend your strobe or video light arm for underwater imaging. A longer arm enables different lighting angles and positions and allows you to reduce backscatter, glare, and hard shadows. An optional clamp will allow you to attach the extension to any standard 1" ball arm, including those from Ikelite, TLC, Ultralight, and Nauticam.
Additionally, the slotted design of the extension enables the connection of an optional lightweight accessory in the middle. When used with Ikelite's Sliding Ball Mount, this accessory can move up and down the length of the arm. The ball mounts/joints measure 1" in diameter, and have a groove and o-ring to prevent slipping for a better hold with less force. The extension and balls are made from aluminum that has been treated with a hard type III anodized finish for resistance to corrosion.
