Product description An upgrade to their standard OVF, Ikelite's 1.0x (Type 3) 45-Degree Magnified Optical Viewfinder enhances your view through your camera's OVF when using a DSLR or Mirrorless housing. It also provides greater long-term comfort. Since you're typically horizontal when diving, viewing your frame at a 45° angle reduces fatigue and often makes composition easier when the subject is below you or tucked into a reef. The OVF features a depth rating of 200'.
The viewfinder rotates at virtually any angle around its attachment point on the housing, enabling easy switching between landscape and portrait orientation. It extends farther away from the housing than the standard OVF without changing the image size. It also eliminates the vignetting of the standard model, and gives you a brighter and larger image.
The 45° OVF is constructed from corrosion-resistant anodized aluminum with durable Delrin acetal resin and a glass eyepiece. The included tool makes it easy to remove your housing's original viewfinder, and to install and remove this one with no housing modification. This (Type 3) OVF is designed for use only with select Ikelite housings, in order to ensure adequate control clearance. See Compatibility Chart.
