Product description Capture wide shots of coral reefs, whale sharks, and shipwrecks with the help of Ikelite's DL 8" Dome Port with Extended Base, which has a depth rating of 200'. It is designed for wide-angle zoom lenses with large diameters, such as the Canon EF 11-24mm f/4L USM. The dome connects to the DL Port Base, which can be attached directly to Ikelite DSLR and mirrorless camera housings that have the Dry Lock Mount. The port ships without the required DL 28mm Extension. For complete compatibility details, see the port chart.
The clear, dome-shaped front element magnifies images to a lesser degree than a flat port does, and corrects for the underwater size distortion that makes everything appear 25% larger and closer--thus helping to restore a wide angle of view. Made in the USA, this durable port features an optical acrylic front element and an acetyl plastic body. Protruding edges on the top and bottom act as a built-in shade, shielding the front element from excess light to prevent glare and lens flare. - Compatible Lenses
