Product description Illuminate the underwater world at depths as great as 300' with Ikelite's DS160 Substrobe, offered here with a NiMH battery, a Smart Charger with European plug, a 1" ball mount, and a diffuser. Grab an optional Ikelite 5-pin TTL sync cord, and you'll be ready to connect the strobe to any of Ikelite's underwater compact or DSLR camera housings featuring their proprietary TTL electrical bulkhead. It's recommended that you take advantage of an optional ball-jointed arm to raise your strobe up higher and give yourself more lighting possibilities.
The 7.2V, 3300mAh NiMH battery has a fast recycle time of 1.6 sec and provides over 225 full-power flashes on a single charge. A quick-release toggle system makes quick, easy work of attaching the battery and also virtually ensures that flooding will not occur.
