Product description Capture wide shots of coral reefs, whale sharks, and shipwrecks with the help of Ikelite's FL/DLM Modular 8" Dome Lens Port, which has a depth rating of 200'. It is designed for wide-angle and zoom lenses on DSLR and mirrorless cameras that are inside Ikelite's FL and DLM-mount underwater housings. The dome ships without a required lens extension, and accepts a variety of models to accommodate most wide and zoom lenses. These extensions connect directly to the mounts on the camera housings. The 8" dome magnifies images to a lesser degree than a flat port does, and corrects for the underwater size distortion that makes everything appear 25% larger and closer--thus helping to restore a wide angle of view. It also enables the capture of over / under photos, where half the image is above the water's surface and the other half is below it. Additionally, the included shade blocks excess light, preventing glare and lens flare when shooting towards the surface.
