Product description Capture expansive shots of coral reefs, whale sharks, and shipwrecks at depths as great as 200' with this Wide-Angle Port, which fits onto Ikelite's underwater housings for the Canon PowerShot G15 and G16 cameras. It replaces each enclosure's original port and allows for the attachment of optional wide-angle wet lenses with 67mm thread diameters, including Ikelite's W-30. Such lenses let you get closer to your subjects while still fitting everything in the frame, thus reducing distortion but maintaining broad coverage. The port keeps vignetting to a minimum, and only slightly limits the zoom range of the camera's lens.
Installation of the wide-angle port is easy, though it does require the purchase of a strap wrench. Once the port is in place, you'll be able to monitor the O-ring seal by looking through the inside of the housing. - Compatible Housings
