Product description - Ascension: More Than Just Risers and Swells
Ascension from ILIO is a collection of over two hundred riser and swell patches for Spectrasonics' Omnisphere virtual instrument. Designed for EDM (Electronic Dance Music) producers and DJ's, as well as film and television composers, the patches make use of the modulation wheel to add a side-chain compression simulator that emulates the "four on the floor" pumping effect. Many patches are also optimized for use with The Orb performance interface feature, providing even more real-time control on stage and in the studio.
Control is also available for adjusting the timing of each riser and swell, all of which are presented in 2, 4, 8, and 16 bar iterations (with several single bar versions added). This allows each riser to finish its crescendo at the right ending point, no matter the tempo. Additionally, each sound holds and transforms intro drones or pulsations after the crescendo, allowing for the addition of beats and other elements on the downbeat, if desired. Note: Requires Omnisphere version 1.5 or higher -
