Product description The Backbeat CD-ROM in Akai format features four world-class drummers, all recorded in numerous legendary studios with some of the best drum rooms available. The material consists of straight forward, no frills, clean and lean drum groove. For anyone doing pop, rock, smooth jazz, crossover or even dance and R&B, the crisp sound of an unadulterated drum kit is indispensable. The four players on Backbeat are Gregg Bissonette, Bob Wilson, John Ferraro and Eric Boseman. The very latest recording technology was used to capture the very natural sound and every groove has a unique kit and mix. With the material on this CD-ROM, the user can create complete drum track with Song Construction Elements including variations, fills, fill bars, intros, breakdowns, ride and side-stick patterns, add-on cymbals and more. Includes 450 loops in 39 categories. Included with the Backbeat CD-ROM is a Mac/Windows data disc, which contains the Groove Control sequences and high resolution WAV files of all the loops. The WAV files can be used for auditioning the grooves in Soundfinder, and also for direct use in software like Acid, Logic, Cubase, Reason or Pro Tools. Groove Control provides a large degree of control over the drummers' performances. Using just a sampler and sequencer, the user can change the drummer's tempo, his feel, the pitch of the drums, the time signature, even the whole pattern without affecting the live, fluid sound of his playing.
