Product description Fret Works from Ilio is a sample library that features fret-board legends Hiram Bullock, Mr. Bill Simms, Nunzio Signoire and in a collection of Delta blues, Appalachian folk and rock performances. Hiram Bullock plays six-string, twelve-string and slide guitar, Nunzio Signoire is on a vintage six-string Gibson, Mr. Bill Simms plays his National Steel, C Nausbaum is featured on mandolin, Nat Harris on guitar and Doug McCaskill plays his custom baritone guitar. This collection captures the soulful essence of Delta blues, Appalachian folk and the roots of rock, bluegrass, swing and shuffle. The performances were recorded in a musical context with all of the raw energy and "happy accidents" that make a track live and breathe. Most phrases are provided in several tempos for flexibility and are divided into four or eight bar patterns and free-style riffs which can be strewn together in countless ways to create unique solos. This library has been compiled to work with Akai hardware samplers and any other hardware or software samplers that conform to the Akai format. It also comes with an audio CD version.
