Product description Liquid Grooves Groove Control from Spectrasonics and distributed by Ilio is a sample collection of grooves that are a synthesis of live drum grooves and unusual, organic percussion loops. The live elements, performed by some of L.A.'s most creative session players, have been transformed into a unique sonic texture via signal processing techniques and state of the art instruments such as the Korg Wavedrum. These grooves are presented in a "construction kit" and many of the grooves are presented in both "natural acoustic" and "hybrid remix" versions for a ultimate versatility. Tempos on the disc start at 52 BPM and go up to 126 BPM. The library also includes over 450 single hits of brush drums, percussion and Wavedrum sounds. The inclusion of the audio CD with the CD-ROM makes the process of finding the required groove faster than ever. Groove Control, a process that cuts up the library into a huge amount of possible groove mixes and tempos, allows the user to adjust tempos, so that they can sync up with a host sequencer. However, the process also goes far beyond mere tempo shifting by providing access to the pitch, feel, sound and in many cases the mix of the groove too. This library has been compiled to work with Roland hardware samplers. Note: This library is the only version needed for those new to Liquid Grooves. Existing Liquid Grooves CD-ROM user can upgrade to the Groove Control version. Table of Contents
