Light and Flash Meter
• • Incident metering for both ambient light and flash
  • Exposure metering range from -1 EV to 18 EV
  • ISO, shutter speed, and aperture variable adjustment
  • Cine mode allows you to measure in shutter angles, f/stops, ISO, and frame rate (fps)
  • Wireless flash metering is possible using the automatic pre-flash rejection
  • Wired flash metering can be performed using the 3.5mm jack
  • When multiple meters are in use, lighting ratios can be measured and the difference can be displayed in f/stops
  • Strobe-to-total ratio can be measured, which accounts for how much of the total light reading comes from the strobe source
  • Up to 15 different programmable alarm notifications can be set to warn you when lighting conditions change or differ outside of the initial metering
  • Automatic comparisons can be made from one or multiple meters and alarms can be set for when color changes, color mismatch, or changes to relative brightness occur

Color Meter
• • Ambient and strobe color metering range from 1600-20,000K
  • Both color temperature and chromaticity can be measured to suit various types of lighting
  • Color temperature reading can display both ambient and strobe readings independently, and a slider can be used to set the target color temperature with the difference in mired color shift displayed
  • Chromaticity plot shows the exact color coordinates of both ambient and strobe lighting in the CIE XYZ gamut, which incorporates a gamut indicator area for the sRGB color space. In addition to showing color temperature, this plot also highlights the magenta-green color shift between lights
  • Multiple meters can measure various sources in a scene to detect mixed lighting scenarios
  • Gel Mode is available in the app for choosing the appropriate lighting gel to match the prevailing color temperature

Wireless Connectivity and Illuminati App

Design
• • Meter readings can be triggered from the mobile device app, from a smartwatch, from the button located directly on the meter, or while working in continuous ambient metering mode
  • 3.5mm jack is available for wired flash triggering
  • Spring-loaded retractable dome toggles up and down, similar to a ballpoint pen. The dome should be up for metering people, 3D objects, or multiple light sources; the dome should be down for metering flat objects or single light sources; and the dome will also retract into the meter body as a safety feature to prevent cracking
  • RGB status indicator LEDs are located on the front face of the meter and display battery warnings, Bluetooth connection status, and user-programmable light and color level alarms
  • Alarms can be set to monitor various parameters, including ambient/strobe light level, ambient/strobe color temperature, or ambient/strobe chromaticity coordinates (X or Y), with the ability to have an alarm when the upper or lower limit has been passed, when a metering is within a range, when a metering is outside of a range, or when a metering changes by a specified number of stops in brightness
  • Two AAA batteries are used as the power source and provide and approximate six-month lifespan under normal use
  • Firmware updates can be performed wirelessly in order to add future features or bug fixes
  • In addition to simply being held, the meter can also be mounted using the incorporated 1/4"-20 tripod mount, holes for a lanyard or strap, or the rear rare-earth magnet
  • Included Offset Finger T magnetic holder connects to the rear magnet and protrudes from the back, allowing you to hold the meter between two fingers. It can also be used as a kickstand for propping the meter up on a flat surface and its offset design lets you adjust the standing angle from 90-45°
  • Included Alligator Clip magnetic holder lets you clip the meter to collars, ties, shirts, or other clothing, as well as cords, straps, or other fabric
