Product description DirectWave VSTi Sampler (Electronic Download) by Image-Line is a VSTi sampler plug-in that loads WAV, DWP, SF2, Native Instruments Battery, Kontakt, Propellerhead's Recycle, GIGA, and eMagic EXS24 file formats. You can also sample your existing VSTi instruments and import samples from the built-in browser library or by dragging and dropping them into the sampler. It features 16 part multitimbral 32-bit samples with 128 voice polyphony, 128 programs, unlimited zones per program, and support for all sample rates. The plug-in interpolates samples with a 64-bit SINC algorithm, has two 24 dB five mode filters in serial or parallel, and includes poly, mono, and legato operations with glide and auto mode.
The sampler offers a flexible 16 slot assignable modulation matrix, 2 modulation ADSR envelopes, 2 zone-independent modulation LFOs, and 2 global program modulation LFOs. You can set, automate, and reverse your own loop points with one-shot, sustained, forward, and bounce looping. You can cut, copy, paste, normalize, trim, and zoom in on samples using the destructive sample editor tool. You can also record your own samples from whatever is connected to the DirectWave inputs and set a record threshold that must be exceeded for sampling to begin.
A built-in voice insert FX enables you to route samples through a ring modulator, sample rate decimator, phaser, and bitcrusher. Additional send effects include reverb, chorus, and sync to host tempo delay with feedback filtering. Each zone has an independent send and there are 16 assignable stereo outputs for you to work with. A multi-editor lets you adjust mixer, expression, channel list, modulation and pitchbend parameters within the Graphical User Interface. All zone and program parameters can be automated as VST parameters and you can recall your samples and project data using the plug-in's total recall operation mode. Table of Contents
