Product description The Image Line Groove Machine Groove Box Software (Electronic Download) is a virtual groove box instrument intended for live performance and studio recording as a combination synthesizer and drum machine. The program consists of 5 hybrid subtractive/FM synthesizer channels, 8 flexible sampler channels with 4 layers per channel, 10 DJ effects with EQ and Stutter per channel, an XY pad for control, and multiple outputs for the synth and sampler channels. The software is optimized for live performance with step, sequencer, drum sequencer, and piano roll views. The internal link system ensures the widest compatibility with different MIDI controllers and it comes in VSTi, AU, and standalone versions.
What distinguishes the software is your ability to automate every parameter of the synthesizer, sampler, and effect channels on a step-by-step basis within the step sequencer. You can quickly build a groove and then trigger loops, samples, patterns, and effects live on the fly using a MIDI controller or your keyboard and mouse within your Digital Audio Workstation.
