Product description The Image Line Gross Beat Time Manipulation Effect Software (Electronic Download) is a time and volume manipulation effect intended for scratching, gating, glitching, stutter, and repetition effects. The software stores your audio in a 2-bar rolling buffer with 36 user definable volume and time envelopes. You can control the envelope parameters in real time with a MIDI controller or by programming automation data.
Parameters can be set to momentary changes when a key is held down, return to base when it is released, or continue to hold mode on a preset to preset basis. Synchronization of presets can be set to immediate change to gradual change over 4 beats or 1 bar. You can link the volume and gating operations together to operate in unison. In addition to gating, the software also contains ducking presets that you can use to create side-chain pumping effects. Using the presets and applying the rhythmic effects to your own audio samples opens up a wide variety of creative possibilities. Table of Contents
