• 2 x Impact Astral Extreme AS-X-400 Monolight When describing the aptly-named 400Ws Astral Extreme AS-X-400 Monolight from Impact the operative word is speed. The light is designed so you'll never miss a shot while waiting for it to recycle. Recycling time is a fast 0.4 seconds at full power, flash duration is an impressive 1/5,000 of a second, and continuous shooting speed can reach a rapid-fire 10 frames per second. This strong emphasis on speed makes the Astral Extreme a smart choice for fashion and event shooting and since it's fast enough to capture almost any movement at its peak, it's ideal for high-speed photography. You can even bring the Astral Extreme on location, powering it from a generator or inverter if there's no AC power available.Easy might be the next way to describe AS-X-400. Adjustments are easily made on the light's back panel which incorporates a carry handle. Soft push buttons control the modeling light, ready beep, and optical slave on/off function. The slave allows you set Instant-Fire or Skip Pre-flash modes and trigger the flash head at distances up to 33'. You can also hard wire the AS-X-400 to your camera via the included 1/4" phono sync cord, or easier still, use an optional wireless radio system such as Impact's ControlSync 16 to trigger the flash from up to 150' away and remotely control its power, modeling and audible alert.The Astral Extreme's power level, which is adjustable in 1/10 stops over a 6 stop range is displayed on an easy-to-read LCD screen. Both power and modeling lamp intensity are adjustable via simple knobs. The 150W modeling light dims when the flash is triggered while a switchable beep indicates full recycling.A handy feature of the AS-X-400 is the adjustable mounting bracket that allows you to find the center of gravity for better balance when using heavy front accessories such as large softboxes. A built-in receiver can support umbrella shafts up to 8mm and umbrellas up to 7' in diameter. The speedring/reflector mount is S-type, providing you with a wide range of choices, not only from Impact but from the many manufacturers who have standardized on this mount. Impact includes a reflector that accepts 7" grids.

• 2 x Impact Heavy-Duty Air-Cushioned Light Stand (Black, 9.5') This Impact Heavy-Duty Air-Cushioned Light Stand is a black anodized aluminum support that rises to a height of 9.5' and folds down to 42" for storage and transport. The stand will handle up to 22 lb and is topped with a removable 5/8" spigot with 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads. It has a wide footprint of 52" for greater stability. Air cushioning gently lowers the light when making height adjustments to protect equipment and fingers.

• Impact Luxbanx Duo Deep Small Octagonal Softbox (39") The Impact Luxbanx Duo Deep Small Octagonal Softbox is a versatile 39" diameter light shaping tool with a textured silver interior for high output, removable front diffuser and a removable interior baffle. It's compatible with strobe lights, fluorescent, or LED light sources. It's also compatible with hot lights up to 1000W. When using it with hot lights remove the interior baffle. The Duo Octa's shape renders a signature quality of soft wrap-around light due to its large surface area and creates round, natural catchlights in your subject's eyes, making it ideal for portraiture and fashion. • Impact Fabric Grid for Small/Deep Octagonal Luxbanx (39") The Impact Fabric Grid for Small/Deep Octagonal Luxbanx is a 39" light modifier that attaches quickly to the softbox's recessed front via touch-fasteners. The 40° grid narrows the beam spread from your softbox to control spill light and add directionality similar to a reflector while maintaining a soft quality of light. • Impact Speed Ring for Impact, Bowens S, Westcott & Aputure The Speed Ring for Impact, Bowens S, Westcott & Aputure from Impact features indexed flex rod holes that allow you to effortlessly mount any square, rectangular, strip, or octagonal Luxbanx softbox to Impact, Bowens S, Westcott, and Aputure heads. The ring will also fit most other brands of softbox. The sturdy all-metal ring rotates 360 degrees to facilitate orientation or to clear obstacles in tight quarters. It has 3/8"-16 taps on two sides to allow mounting directly to grip gear such as Impact's Swivel Umbrella Adapter, 3 Section Double Articulated Arm, Super Clamp, and more. UPC: 847628003309
• Impact Convertible Umbrella - White Satin with Removable Black Backing - 45" This is an Impact 45" white satin umbrella with removable black backing. Umbrellas soften, broaden, and diminish the light output of any flash light source. Umbrellas with a white interior will soften and weaken light more than an umbrella with a silver lining. A white umbrella without a black backing may also be used as a makeshift softbox, although the use of the light will not be as efficient as with a softbox. Choosing umbrella size is determined by the size of the subject, and the strength of the light supply being used. Choosing an umbrella surface is as subjective as choosing a paint and brush. This size is perfect for a 1 - 2 person half-length portrait, or a 3x4 ft product setup.

• Impact ControlSync 16 Transmitter The Impact ControlSync 16 Transmitter provides photographers with a wireless solution for triggering their select flash head at distances up to 150'. The ControlSync 16 is compatible only with Impact's AS-X-400 Astral Extreme and its kits. It also works with Interfit's Strobies line of flashes and the Angler Q-400. The 16-channel, 16-group transmitter has a built-in antenna and hot shoe and uses a separately purchased 16-channel, 16-group receiver that is powered by its host flash without using batteries.Operating on the 433 MHz frequency, the ControlSync 16 Transmitter can raise and lower the power of the slave flash in 1/10 or 1/3 stop increments as well as turn modeling lights and audio alerts on and off. It's also capable of turning the AF assist on or off on flash units that have this feature. The ControlSync 16 transmitter runs on 2 AA batteries and is intended for use with the CS-16-R receiver. Besides triggering your flash from up to 150' away, the ControlSync 16 transmitter can be used as a handheld remote controller to adjust the settings on all your compatible flash units that are connected to a ControlSync receiver, even if you use a different device or method to trigger them.
