Product description The Impact ControlSync 16 Transmitter and Receiver Kit was put together by to provide photographers with a wireless solution for triggering their Impact AS-X-400 Astral Extreme or Interfit Strobies flashes at distances up to 150'. The kit includes a 16 channel, 16 group transmitter with built-in antenna and hot shoe and a 16 channel, 16 group receiver that is powered by its host flash without using batteries. Operating on the 433 MHz frequency, the ControlSync 16 Transmitter can raise and lower the power of the slave flash in 1/10 or 1/3 stop increments as well as turn modeling lights and audio alerts on and off. It's also capable of turning the AF assist on or off on flash units that have this feature. The ControlSync 16 transmitter runs on 2 AA batteries and is intended for use with the CS-16-R receiver that's included in this kit. Besides triggering your flash from up to 150' away, the ControlSync 16 transmitter can be used as a handheld remote controller to adjust the settings on all your compatible flash units that are connected to a ControlSync receiver, even if you use a different device or method to trigger them. Powered by the host device via USB instead of batteries, the included ControlSync 16 Receiver accepts a signal from one of 16 user-selected channels for triggering and function control of the flash. - Impact ControlSync 16 Transmitter The Impact ControlSync 16 Transmitter provides photographers with a wireless solution for triggering their select flash head at distances up to 150'. The ControlSync 16 is compatible only with Impact's AS-X-400 Astral Extreme and its kits. It also works with Interfit's Strobies line of flashes and the Angler Q-400.
