Product description The 34" Impact White Folding Beauty Dish provides a solution for photographers who love the signature light quality of these modifiers, but are frustrated by the transport options available with traditional metal reflectors. This Impact beauty dish sets up in seconds while shooters with traditional reflectors are still pulling their dish units out of cumbersome cases.Made for strobes, monolights and monolight-shaped LEDs, the beauty dish features a white interior for a soft quality of light with neutral color rendition. An integrated fiberglass frame and a metal inner deflector bounces the direct light output backwards and distributes it across the broad flat arc of the dish. If you want to soften the punchy look of the beauty dish further, you can simply slip on the included cap-style front diffuser.A favorite of portrait and fashion shooters, beauty dishes are usually used quite close up, where the flattened light wraps around the subject while bringing out details in makeup and clothing. The octagonal shape renders natural looking catchlights in the eyes of the model that are not possible with rectangular softboxes. Even close up, this medium size covers head and shoulders admirably and works well for crisp looking, full length shots when pulled back.The Folding Beauty Dish comes with an Impact/Bowens S-Type adapter for the many brands that use this mount.
