Product description The Octa Fluorescent Kit was put together by to provide a core lighting setup suitable for product photography, portraiture and numerous other creative endeavors. The kit includes a four-socket fluorescent fixture, four daylight-balanced spiral fluorescent lamps and a 24" Octa softbox with an 8' air-cushioned light stand. The Octa Four-Socket Fluorescent Fixture from Impact is a four Edison socket base that accepts CFL fluorescents up to 85W. The base has dual rocker switches, each of which control on/off function for two lamps allowing the creation of a light ratio. The fixture has a multi-voltage power supply for worldwide use (with addition of optional adapter plug) and has a standard 5/8" receiver for light stands and accessories. The matching Octa Softbox features a highly reflective pebbled interior and a removable front face that attaches with simple touch-fasteners. In use, it renders the signature wrap-around look that it's well known for, as well as natural circular catch-lights in your subject's eyes. The softbox is supported by an Impact 8' stand that gently lowers the light during height adjustments thanks to its air-cushioning. - Impact FF-OF4 Octa 4-Socket Fluorescent Fixture The FF-0F4 Octa 4-Socket Fluorescent Fixture from Impact is a four Edison socket base that accepts CFL fluorescents up to 85W. Individual socket rating is 105 watts. The back panel has dual rocker switches, each of which control on/off function for two lights allowing the creation of a light ratio. The FF-0F4 has a multi-voltage power supply for worldwide use (with addition of optional adapter plug) and has a standard 5/8" receiver for light stands and accessories. The FF-0F4 is meant for use with the Impact FF-OSB60 24" Octa Softbox which is purchased separately, or with a standard photo umbrella that fits through the fixture's umbrella receptacle. - Impact FF-OSB60 Octa Softbox (24") The 24" FF-OSB60 Octa Softbox from Impact is an 8-sided light modifier supported by 8 flexrods which are attached to the separately purchased FF-OF4 4-socket fixture. The Octa features a highly reflective pebbled interior and a removable front face that attaches with simple touch-fasteners. In use, it renders the signature wrap-around look that it's well known for, as well as natural circular catch-lights in your subjects eyes. - Impact Air-Cushioned Light Stand (Black, 8') This aluminum Impact Air-Cushioned Light Stand rises to a height of 8' and folds down to 29.6". The stand has sure-twist section locks and 4 sections and will support up to 8 lb. If you forget to tighten any section with your light mounted, the light slowly descends, thanks to the air-cushioned action. This useful feature saves equipment and fingers from harm during busy photo sessions.
