Product description B&H has put together a kit using predominantly Impact gear that's a great economical solution for your Photo Portrait Studio needs. The kit includes 3 fluorescent fixtures with 40W daylight-balanced lamps, two 6' stands, a 3' backlight stand, 2 white translucent umbrellas, 2 silver-beaded umbrellas, and a stand and umbrella case. Kit Components:The Single Socket Fluorescent Fixture from Impact is a lightweight fixture in a polycarbonate housing designed to accept Edison-base compact fluorescent lamps. It can be used with up to 105W CFL bulbs. The fixture's bracket tilts and locks into position and features a standard 5/8" receiver that mounts on any 5/8" stud or accessory.The 3-section 6' Impact Black Light Stand is an economical support with an industry-standard 5/8" stud top with a 1/4"-20 thread. The stand folds down to 26.3" and weighs 1.8 lb. This 3' black anodized aluminum Impact Back Light Stand consists of a base and riser. Use the lower part as a base to place a mounted light at floor or table level. Add the extension to the base to raise the height of the light to a maximum of 3'. The 33" Impact Translucent White Umbrella both reflects light and allows it to pass through. Used in the traditional bounce mode, some of the light is reflected onto your subject while the rest is transmitted, increasing the room's ambient light level, adding fill and reducing contrast. Used in shoot-through mode, the outside of the umbrella is pointed toward the subject with the light source behind it. This allows you to shoot much closer than normal to render a very soft look. The Impact 33" Beaded Silver Umbrella strikes a good compromise between high output and soft light quality. The black backing prevents light leakage and provides directional control while the beading breaks up the specular quality that standard silver umbrellas have.The padded nylon Stand and Umbrella Case measures 36 x 9 x 9" and allows you to carry up to 25 lb of gear. It has a webbed double carry handle that is stitched completely around the outside of the case, as well a removable shoulder strap. - 3 x Impact Single Socket Fluorescent Fixture The Single Socket Fluorescent Fixture from Impact is a lightweight fixture in a polycarbonate housing designed to accept Edison-base compact fluorescent lamps. Use the lower part as a base to place a mounted light at floor or table level, as low as 5.5". Add the extension to the base to raise the height of the light from 22.8" (57.9 cm) to a maximum of 3' (90 cm). The stand is constructed of black anodized aluminum.

It provides 5000° Kelvin (daylight), equivalent in brightness to a 150 watt tungsten bulb.
