  The Impact Porcelain Socket with Umbrella Mount (500W) is a cost-effective way to utilize a wide variety of E26 (Edison) based lamps for photo or video work. Options include simple household lamps as well as photoflood and quartz halogen bulbs. This highly versatile product has an adjustable metal mount with a 5/8" receiver for light stands and an 8mm umbrella receptacle. The Floodlight Socket tilts and locks in place at the desired angle by grasping the stay-cool wooden handle and releasing the locking knob. Lamps up to 500W won't melt the ceramic base which is impervious to heat. The socket also accepts screw-on reflectors of various sizes.

  The Impact SF-AE80 AC Flash is a handy light source that screws into any household fixture, E26 socket or photo fixture with an E26 (Edison) base. A jack-of-all-trades, the 5,600K SF-AE80 can be used in lamps or home fixtures when lighting interiors with flash, especially during the daytime. Make your own super-lightweight portable flash kit with an optional Impact Porcelain Socket with Umbrella Mount (IMSPUM). Use it as a background light, hair light or accent light. The SF-AE80 can be used in either the master or slave mode thanks to its optical sensor and sync outlet. Trigger it from the camera via the included 11' 3.5mm mini jack sync cord or trigger several of them as slaves responding to the camera's master flash. UPC: 847628559110

  This is an Impact 32" white satin umbrella with removable black backing. Umbrellas soften, broaden, and diminish the light output of any flash light source. Umbrellas with a white interior will soften and weaken light more than an umbrella with a silver lining. A white umbrella without a black backing may also be used as a makeshift softbox, although the use of the light will not be as efficient as with a softbox.Choosing umbrella size is determined by the size of the subject, and the strength of the light supply being used. Choosing an umbrella surface is as subjective as choosing a paint and brush.This size is perfect for a 1 - 2 person head shot, or a 2x3 ft product setup.
